An Afternoon in the Park

2006 has been nonstop for us (don’t get me wrong, we love it) but today we got a well-deserved afternoon off. Mark finally got his plane put together and took it out for a test flight. Wind would help, but what the hell, he gave it shot anyway. Here are a couple of fun snapshots of our afternoon out.

Now it’s back to work. The weddings just keep on coming…we must be doing something right!!! -Michele

IN PHOTOGRAPHY JOINS WPPI

We are very excited to announce that we have joined Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. We will be attending their convention in Vegas this April where we will get to meet some of our favorite photographers, such as Yervant, Joe Buissink and Jeff & Julia Woods. I also finally get the opportunity to submit my album designs into the 2006 WPPI contest so don’t forget to check back for the results! Wish us luck! -Michele

Here’s some photos from our most recent wedding.

Trailmaster Coz

Trailmaster Coz

We finally got out for a great hike yesterday! Afterall, we needed to try out Cozmo’s Christmas gift-his pack. He immediately took on the role of the “trailmaster” and seemed to take it quite seriously. Mark & I got a good laugh and the three of us got some much needed exercise.

Iowa in December

IN Photography took a christmas vacation back to Iowa to see my family. It was an interesting one to say the least. It was good to catch up with my friends and especially the family. We did have a little scare with my newest nephew Dylan Mark Hooper (yes, my namesake). He is a “heart patient” from birth and decided to keep us on our toes during our large family christmas. If you are interested in knowing more, my sister has kept a thorough blog of her own @ http://www.carepages.com/ServeCarePage?cpn=dylanhooper&uniq=408833

On a lighter note Michele and I did get out to shoot a little bit while we were there.

This is an ice covered tree on a very foggy day just down the road from where I grew up.

IN Photography joins the blogging world!

Michele and I decided that this would be a great way to keep everyone (family, friends, clients (who we consider friends as well)) up to date. Anyway, don’t look for anything in particular from this. We thought it would be a great way to kick off the new year as it promises to be a good one for us. I hope you enjoy following along. If so, please let us know!
