Never had I known what a nuisance woodpeckers could be until they started waking me up every morning while putting holes in the side of my house. Mark is running out of ideas on how to get rid of them. He read that they don’t like reflective material and hanging up some type of foil or mylar on the house should help. As you can see by this photo, our woodpecker has no fear. He pecked right through the streamer hanging in his way and proceeded to make a larger hole. Anybody have any woodpecker repellant advice?

I’ve spent the last seven years moving back and forth between Arizona and Colorado. (I moved so many times my dad actually bought me a trailer) It’s been quite a journey trying to figure out what really makes me happy and where in the world I should call home. After six months here in Evergreen and through the harshest winter in decades I can honestly say I absolutely love it here and plan on staying for many years. Today I got my first ever Colorado license plate and am so excited to call Colorado my home!
