Wendy & Dusty were married yesterday in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It was the first day of the year to reach triple digit temps…105 degrees! Luckily, the drinks and the air conditioning was flowing and it was an amazing day.
Here is a sneak peek at Wendy & Dusty’s wedding images. We have so many more fun and beautiful images to come. Please check back on May 21 for a link to view their entire wedding image collection. If you would like to be e-mailed as soon as their gallery goes live just shoot us an e-mail to michele@inphotography.net with Wendy & Dusty in the subject and we’ll send you the link as soon as they’re ready.
These guys are used to this kind of heat.

Wendy looked stunning.

These flower girls were amazing when it came time for photographs.

I love this moment between Wendy & her dad.

Definitely the most entertaining family photo we’ve ever taken. This family was ready to party!

Congratulations you guys!
Yes, that’s right, another road trip. On Wednesday we’ll be hitting the road again. First we’re off to Lake Havasu to photograph Wendy & Dusty’s wedding, then we’re off to San Diego and L.A. for a little vacation time. We have tons of shoots scheduled so we should have loads of fun stuff to post over the next few weeks.
We’ll be back in the office on Monday, May 14th but will be returning e-mails and voicemails while we’re out of town.
Over the past year Mark and I have become more and more passionate about the fragile state of our earth and what we can do to protect it. Everyday we learn about steps we can take to lead a “greener” life. To celebrate Earth Day 2007 we are kicking off our “Green Lifestyle Tips” which will be a new section of our blog that we add to every week. Check in every week to see what we’re doing to be “green” and hopefully be inspired to incorporate some of these tips and ideas into your lifestyle as well.
Tip #1 - Plant a Tree
A single tree can absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. Not to mention, it’s a beautiful addition to your yard. Yesterday we picked up a Quaking Aspen from Home Depot and added it to our yard. Home Depot has an awesome selection of trees right now.

Happy Earth Day!
One of my favorite parts of living in Colorado is the opportunity to experience the changing seasons. Unlike Arizona where the only change is the temperature from really hot to not so hot. Everything is coming to life and turning green and the elk are finally roaming the streets again. The other day our neighbor down the street told us that a fox had babies underneath the shed behind their house. Here are a couple fun shots that Mark got today.
Check out the eyes of the cub glaring at Mark from beneath the shed.

Here’s mom keeping a very close eye on Mark.
Some of you may have noticed the recent face lift to the blog which was inspired by the need to get rid of all of the spam we were getting in our comments section. Leaving a comment works a little different now but we’re happy to say that it’s spam-free! To leave a comment just click on “comments” directly below the title of the post, then scroll down to the bottom of the post where you’ll find the “Leave a comment” field.
Love a post, hate a post, think it’s funny, let us know what YOU think! Don’t be shy! We check our stats and we know that somewhere out there people are reading this. We want to know who you are!
We’re very excited to introduce our new biannual publication “IN Spring” and “IN Fall.” Each issue will feature one of our favorite weddings, portraits & vendors from the past six months. We will also keep you informed on all of the lastest IN Photography portrait and wedding news. If you would like to be included on our mailing list, just send a quick e-mail to michele@inphotography.net and include your mailing address!

We had a great time on Saturday hanging out with Amy & Mike for their engagment portrait session in Breckenridge. Amy & Mike are engaged to be married on August 4th in Breck. We can’t wait, they are so much fun to work with! Here are a few of our favorites from their session.

Today we went out for an awesome hike at Mt. Falcon. Here are some fun shots that we took. Enjoy!

We found this great overlook today. Amazing views of the mountains!
