So we planned on having an exiciting post for you all following last night’s Killers concert at Red Rocks but unfortunately that is not the case. After performing two songs followed by about 15 minutes of silence the drummer announced that Brandon Flowers voice had gone out and the show was cancelled. What a bummer! Especially after hanging out for two hours of opening acts. Luckily the gig has been rescheduled and our tickets will still be good. So in September we’ll let you know how it was.
For anyone who has never been to Red Rocks, I highly recommend seeing a show there once in your lifetime. It’s really an amazing concert venue and probably one of the top 5 places in Colorado to get a contact high!
Last week while in Arizona we met Jerry, a classic car collector. Currently parked in his garage is a ’50 Woody, a ’55 Chevy and a ’66 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 with 20,000 original miles. Mark spent the afternoon with Jerry photographing these beautiful collector’s items.
