Molly & Chris in Morrison

Despite the storm that was quickly making it’s way into Denver this afternoon, Molly & Chris were calm and cool as could be for their engagement portrait session.  We met up at Bear Creek Lake Park in Morrison where the trees are starting to bloom and the grass is turning green, it was a beautiful day.  The sun came out just in time to help us create some nice, crisp, relaxed portraits of these two.  Here are a just a few of my favorites!

Robyn & Jon in Evergreen

I was so excited to meet our clients Robyn & Jon while they were in town from Texas for a super busy wedding planning weekend. After meeting Robyn’s fabulous parents back in the fall I had no doubt that we would hit it off with Robyn & Jon. We got together at Dedisse Park here in Evergreen for a fun engagement portrait session. Their Keystone wedding in July should be amazing!

Peyton!

On Sunday we spent the morning at the park with our neighbor Kathleen and her adorable son Peyton.  I could photograph this little guy all day long, he is such a doll.  Peyton LOVES the camera!  We had such a great time with him and got some very cute images.

Peyton absolutely loves the swing!

Elizabeth & Ben - Downtown Denver

We had the best time with our clients Elizabeth & Ben on Saturday night! In two hours we managed to hit up Riverfront Park, Cheesman Park & the Denver Art Museum. Ideal light along with a well-dressed, super fun couple that was up for anything made for a perfect engagement portrait session. We can’t wait for their Boulder wedding in August. Here are just a few of my many favorites!

We couldn’t help but have a little fun while at the Denver Art Museum!

IN Spring

Nothing signifies the arrival of spring more than a 72 degree day followed by six inches of snow the next.  At least that’s the case if you live in Colorado!  Our 2nd annual issue of IN Spring was published last week!  If you are not on our mailing list and would like to receive IN Spring & IN Fall, just shoot me an e-mail!

Introducing IN Weddings!

I am SO excited to introduce you to our new website-IN Weddings!  Being a wedding photographer has put me in contact with some of the best wedding experts in Colorado.  Since becoming a bride I’ve learned how valuable it is to have these resources at my fingertips.  Last month I became inspired to create a place where I could connect Colorado brides with the best vendors out there.  The directory is a work in progress but we’ll be adding new wedding experts every week.  The blog will be constantly updated with vendor interviews, bride interviews and my own little tips and advice.  Our fabulous photographer colleagues are helping us to create an amazing real Colorado weddings section where brides can find tons of visual inspiration.  I hope you take the time to check it out and let us know what you think! www.inweddings.net

Bam!

For those of you that stop by on a regular basis, you remember reading about the unfortunate accident that the Subaru was involved in last month. I say accident that the subaru was involved in because it was parked and I was not in it. After one month of being in the shop I finally got my car back last Tuesday. I was thrilled to have my car back in perfect condition but unfortunately it didn’t last long. Today, while heading down I-70 doing about 55mph, I hit an elk. Ouch. Probably one of the biggest I’ve seen around here with a nice size rack, jumped out of the median and right into the front of my car. Amazingly enough it lived and (with a limp) ran off down the hill. It actually came up over my hood, onto my windshield and over the other side of my car without breaking my windshield. However, he did manage to dent several parts of my car. Back to the collision center the Subaru goes.
