After following Brooke’s wedding plans on Wedding Bee for the last few months, I was so excited to see it all come together at their Breckenridge wedding at Ten Mile Station. Brooke was responsible for all the gorgeous details and her choice of colors were unlike any I’d seen before. Their wedding had a feel that was so classic yet modern at the same time. To top of this perfect fall wedding was a beautiful couple inside and out. It was such an honor to document Brooke & Chris’s day. Sit back and relax, I have many images to share! This weekend we shot a gorgeous wedding in Aspen. We decided to drive home via Independence Pass and the fall colors were at their peak, it was absolutely beautiful. Though the scenery was incredible I wasn’t up for stopping much because I was so anxious to pick up the dogs from the kennel. (They and us have been completely spoiled by our gracious friends and family, it was their first time ever being boarded.) While I drove, Mark hung the camera out the window to snag some quick shots of the drive. For not looking through the lens I’m quite impressed by how these turned out! On Wednesday we took a drive up to Kenosha Pass and hiked about six miles of the Colorado Trail. It was a perfect fall hike since the area has some of the largest aspen groves I’ve seen. I can’t wait to go back and snowshoe more of the trail in the winter. Continue reading ‘The Colorado Trail @ Kenosha Pass’

Brad & Karen had a beautiful wedding at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge earlier this month. It was the first time all summer that there was not a cloud in sight and no threat of rain. The crisp blue sky made for such a warm and lovely day. Here are a few of my favorite images. Continue reading ‘Brad & Karen @ Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge’

As wedding season winds down and winter approaches we’re realizing that we need to get outside and enjoy fall while it lasts. We didn’t get to do nearly the amount of outdoor activities this summer as we would have liked so we’re working on cramming as much in as we can over the next month. On Friday we took a drive up to Jones Pass. It was absolutely gorgeous and completely serene. The fresh snow on the ground and light flakes that were falling from the sky were just another reminder that winter is coming. Continue reading ‘Jones Pass’
