Blizzard conditions in Breckenridge didn’t stop Lara & Odell from exchanging their vows outside on Saturday and I was thrilled that was the case. Despite the freezing temps and bone-chilling wind it was absolutely beautiful. It was a good thing Lara, Odell and their friends and family were all from Minnesota because not only were they completely prepared for it but they were hardly phased by it. It was wonderful to see Lara & Odell make the most of their day no matter what the weather had in store for them. And let me tell you, it was the most beautiful day and we are so glad that we got to be a part of it.
Lara & Odell had so many amazing details that I decided to split this in to two posts. In a few days I’ll post all the stunning details. For now, here are some of my favorite moments from Lara & Odell’s Breckenridge wedding.
I love this shot Mark captured of Lara’s parents working on last minute preparations.
Everything was going good until the wind picked up.
The ceremony and cocktail hour took place at a beautiful home in Breckenridge called Rubywood.
There’s that wind again.
Lara & Odell knew they didn’t stand a chance lighting the unity candle amidst the wind, but they did a great job of faking it!
I have to say, once the ceremony began I forgot about the cold and by the looks on their faces I’m guessing they did too.
Emily Campbell working it like the incredible pro that she is! Calming babies and pouring champagne with a smile. I love that girl!
I told you they came prepared!
The fantastic Sal Mancini setting the mood for a warm and cozy reception that followed at Relish in downtown Breckenridge.
Stay tuned for part two. Cheers!

absolutely beautiful.
