Amy & David’s Photo Booth Madness!

Ever since the huge success we had with the photo booth at our wedding, we’ve been offering it as an option to our wedding clients.  Last Sunday we set up the photo booth at Amy & David’s wedding at Meadow Creek Bed & Breakfast and watched the madness quickly ensue.  Mark & I continue to shoot the reception and the photo booth is self-serve.  Let me tell you, people are a lot more relaxed in front of a camera when there is no one behind it!  We came home with a few hundred super fun images for Amy & David to remember their wedding day by.  Here are a handful of my favorites. St. Mary’s Glacier

What a gorgeous day!  I’m so glad we decided to finally take a day off and enjoy it!  The plan was to summit Mt. Bierstadt today but unfortunately Guanella Pass was closed so instead we decided to hike up to St. Mary’s Glacier.  I recently learned that although it’s called St. Mary’s Glacier it’s not technically a glacier but rather a snowfield.  Nonetheless, when we arrived it was spectacular.  I can’t say it compared to the glaciers I saw in Alaska but it still was an incredible force of nature that made me feel quite small.  We hiked the entire length of the snowfield, probably about 3/4 of a mile.  It was absolutely beautiful!  Check out some of the photos I snapped along the way… Continue reading ‘St. Mary’s Glacier’

Congratulations Kelly & Nate!

I just wanted to say congratulations to Kelly & Nate who celebrated their wedding in Breckenridge on Saturday.  It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know this delightful couple over the past year.  I am just thrilled that we got to be a part of their wedding!  Many more photos to come later this week!

Derek & Natalie’s Keystone Ranch Wedding

I have another absolutely beautiful Colorado wedding to share!  This past Friday, Natalie, Derek and all their friends and family made the trek from Florida to the Rocky Mountains for their wedding celebration.  Derek & Natalie are the sweetest couple and absolutely love everything about Colorado.  When it started pouring at 5 o’clock on the dot, the moment their ceremony was set to begin, my heart sank for them.  However, this couple is so cool and laid back that they enjoyed a few cocktails and appetizers to wait and see if the rain would subside.  One hour later it was still pouring and so guests began to be seated in the tent.  Just as I was taking my position to photograph Natalie walking down the isle the clouds parted and the sun shined brightly down on Keystone Ranch.  In what felt like mere seconds everyone relocated to the ceremony seating on the grass and the ceremony began.  I can’t even explain how gorgeous it was.  I was grinning ear to ear for the entire ceremony, so excited for Derek & Natalie.

Derek & Natalie, it was such a pleasure getting to know you.  Congratulations and the very best of luck to you on your move to Colorado!!!

Now, on to the photos!
