About 30 minutes from our house is this ridge in Eagles Nest Wilderness. To say it’s incredible, amazing, unbelievable is an understatement. For a while you just hike through the desolate tundra and can’t see anything but blue sky and white puffy clouds. Then, all of a sudden, you crest the hill and there it is…the entire world. That feeling you get when you literally feel like you’re standing on top of the world is unlike any other. I don’t have a list of things I want to do before I die but if you do, add this to it. Whether you hike, drive, snowmobile or otherwise, stand on top of a mountain. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
