This fall is incredible. Quite possibly the best I’ve ever seen in Colorado.

Shadi & Jonathan met in junior high school. I think my favorite part of their wedding day was during the maid of honor’s toast. She busted out a notebook that her and Shadi shared in junior high and proceeded to read an entry where Shadi wrote about how cute she thought Jonathan was. That was many years ago and they never actually dated until years later when fate brought them back together. Since then they’ve been inseparable, have shared in good times and bad and share a bond that runs deep. You can see it in the way they look at one another, like they share a secret that know one else will ever know.
In August they tied the knot at Larkspur Restaurant at the base of the slopes in Vail. It was a spectacular day full of love and laughter. Below are just a few of my favorite shots from their Vail wedding…

I cannot put in to words my love for Annie & Tim’s wedding. The location. The couple. The full moon. The tandem bike! I’ve never met another couple like Annie & Tim. Their zest for live, their smiles, their sense of humor. It’s contagious and being around them makes me want to be a better person. I can’t help but smile from ear to ear the entire day when I get to witness two people so perfect for each other join their lives in marriage. Annie & Tim met while living in Steamboat Springs so it made perfect sense that they tied the knot where it all started. They chose Fetcher Ranch, a location unlike any other in Colorado. I could go on and on but I think the photos speak for themselves so let’s get to it! Continue reading ‘Annie & Tim’s Fetcher Ranch Wedding’

Last week I was speaking with my October 1st bride on the phone. She lives in Texas and expressed some concern that it might be cold and possibly snowing for her Breckenridge wedding in two weeks. I don’t know what got in to me but apparently I was feeling optimistic. I told her it’s pretty early for snow and hopefully we won’t see any white flakes for at least a few more weeks. I knew better. I should have never opened my mouth. The above shot was taken at Natalie & Toby’s Breckenridge wedding on Saturday. It snowed and it snowed hard. Snow may mean cold but the upside (and the reminder I got that day) was that it’s absolutely beautiful. Especially the first dusting. When it stopped and the clouds parted, the fresh dusting on Baldy across the valley was incredible. Megan, my apologies for the false advertising, but know this, come sun or snow, I know your wedding is going to be beautiful!
