I hope everyone enjoyed a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend! It was a busy one for us first with Jenna & Will’s Winter Park wedding on Saturday followed by Rebecca & Ben’s Breckenridge wedding on Sunday. I can hardly believe it’s September already. The leaves are turning here, the temps are cooling and I am not ready! I have yet to even blog any of our August weddings yet! So, let’s get it started with Bonnie & David’s wedding at Ten Mile Station. You may have noticed, we’ve been at Ten Mile Station a lot this year. It just so happens Ten Mile is our favorite venue to shoot at so we’re not complaining. Sweet location, amazing views, delicious food and incredible service. Bonnie & David’s wedding was no exception. Bonnie & David are both Jewish and I have to say, I absolutely love Jewish weddings. They are so rich in tradition. I absolutely love getting to experience how different religions and cultures celebrate marriage and hope to photograph a Hindu wedding next! Here are just a few of my favorite shots from Bonnie & David’s Breckenridge wedding…
It started out as another gorgeous Colorado day…
In true Colorado fashion, a storm quickly passed through.
So, since it was time for the ceremony to begin, the chuppah was brought inside.
But, within minutes, the sun was back out…
…and so the chuppah was returned to it’s outdoor location : )
And, just like that, it’s once again a gorgeous Colorado day.
I loved how the fabric on the chuppah looked blowing in the wind.
Such a great pop of color those red dresses give to the photos. The color palette you choose for your wedding will really make a difference with the overall look of your photos. I’m also loving all the grey suits I’m seeing this year!
One of my most favorite wedding traditions, the horah! Which is why I can’t help but post a few photos!
The groom sporting a purple wig. Love it.
Mark had his camera on a monopod with a remote trigger so that he could get these great overhead shots.
What a spectacular day. It was simply gorgeous in every way.
