Oh how I long for summer looking at these photos from Kelly & Jerry’s Steamboat Springs wedding in September.  Only six more months of winter and it will look like that again!  The setting at the top of the gondola in Steamboat is nothing short of spectacular.  Steamboat, with it’s slightly lower elevation than many other Colorado ski resorts, has it’s ski runs carved out of the aspen trees rather than pines.  It’s quite unique and absolutely stunning.  I have tons of photos to share so let’s get right to it!

I absolutely adore Kelly for how “in the moment” she was the entire day.  She soaked up every single moment and had a smile from ear to ear the entire day.  I couldn’t help but smile every time I looked at her.

The guys, doing what they do best, just chillin’.

Some couples ask us “Are you going to make us jump?”.  That question cracks me up.  We don’t make our clients to anything but if you want to jump, then by all means…

Another thing that makes me smile, proud papas.

Arguably one of the most beautiful places in Colorado for a wedding ceremony.

You know what makes Jerry smile?  Kelly.  I love that.

Kelly & Jerry are Steamboat locals so we were sure to get a shot on the lift that they often frequent during the ski season.

Their reception took place in the Champagne Powder Room overlooking downtown Steamboat and the Yampa Valley.
