Over the last seven days we explored a little less than 500 miles of Colorado’s back roads.  Starting in Routt National Forest along the edge of the Flat Tops Wilderness area to White River National Forest, the Grand Hogback and Colorado River we traversed roads thru aspen groves, high desert plains, tundra and alpine forests.  We rarely saw pavement or drove faster than 40 mph, hiked everyday and sat around a crackling campfire beneath the Milky Way every night.  It may not be for everyone but we can’t imagine a more ideal way to explore the great outdoors.  Here are the first of many photos to come…

Stayed tuned for more!
