Although I’m quite excited about our upcoming Breckenridge, Steamboat & Beaver Creek weddings, it was quite a treat spending the month of June photographing weddings at Keystone’s premier venues.  Any day I have to ride a gondola to work is a good day.  Jennifer & Jeff tied the knot on the Schoolmarm ski run on Dercum Mountain followed by a second gondola ride to North Peak for their reception at Alpenglow Stube.  It was a picture perfect destination wedding for this beautiful couple from New York.  Take a peek…

A note from the Bride:
“Thank you thank you thank you!!! This thank you email is long long overdue. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos (I haven’t had so many friends tell me how beautiful I looked or so many likes on anything I’ve ever posted on Facebook, and that’s just the sneak peek album). They are exactly what I’d always hoped for and perfectly captured all the events, people and emotions of our day, just looking at some of the ceremony ones makes my eyes well up with tears all over again every time I look at them, which is often. My veil flying all over the place still makes me giggle (and more amazed that you caught so many photos with it not looking crazy). The groomsmen photos are really some of the best pictures of a group of guys I’ve ever seen (well-tailored suits make such a difference and your natural posing suggestions). Plus we had such a blast hanging out with you and Mark all afternoon too! I would recommend you both to all my friends for photos (even Jeff’s younger brother who just proposed and is likely to do a destination wedding on a Caribbean island – but you guys might want to switch things up?)

I love the photos so much I’m trying to convince Jeff that floor to ceiling photo wall paper is a good idea, ha! But in all seriousness, we’re taking a look at your product options and inspiration ideas to come up with fun ways to display them (they definitely won’t be just on the computer). I also finished up my guest posts for Brides.com, so those should be going live in the next couple weeks (pending their schedule) and I’m so excited to share your wonderful work and my special day with lots of brides to be.

Thank you for capturing our special day so perfectly and hope to see you again on our next Colorado trip perhaps!
