As the summer goes on and the workload piles up, we’re finding it more and more challenging to take the time to get out for our once-a-week hikes.  However, the more stressed and overwhelmed we feel, the more I realize how important it is to make our hikes a priority.  It’s a time when I can truly decompress, disconnect and re-energize my spirit.  For me, there is no better medicine for the soul than spending time in the great outdoors.  I feel truly blessed to live in a place where the wilderness lies right outside my doorstep.  Here are a few photos from our hike to Boulder Lakes in Eagles Nest Wilderness.
