I cannot believe the leaves are changing, the temps are dropping and October is almost here.  I can practically smell the snow on its way.  August flew by in the blink of an eye and was filled with so many happy couples and incredible locations.  I have so much to share so here is a little peek at what we’ve been up to and what’s to come here on the blog.  Stay tuned!

Mia & Greg tied the knot on a sun-drenched day at Perry-Mansfield in Steamboat Springs:

We spent a fun afternoon with Lindsay & Kirk for their laid-back Breckenridge engagement portrait session:

Jamienne & Ryan, one of the happiest couples on the planet, got married at Timber Ridge in Keystone:

The new High Lonesome Lodge at Devil’s Thumb Ranch offered a quintessential Colorado setting for Andrea & Justin’s flawless wedding:

Our weekly long hikes took a backseat to our busy schedule but with all the rain we saw in August it would have been hard to get out anyways.

Sarah & Jarrod eloped at Cordillera Lodge in Edwards on a perfect Colorado day:

Janece & Fred celebrated their first day of marriage with a small ceremony and reception at Sunspot at Winter Park:

Many grey, overcast, rainy days ended by rewarding us with some phenomenal sunsets.  This is the moment the sky broke open at Janece & Fred’s Winter Park wedding:

We added another stunning wedding to our Ten Mile Station portfolio. A favorite from Kelsey & Mark’s insanely fun destination wedding:

Chris & Tracy’s beautiful mountaintop wedding at Arapahoe Basin: (The following weekend there was snow on those peaks)

On Labor Day weekend on the way home from work, doing 65 mph down the highway, a moose! No, wait a second, that’s a…….a donkey? WTF?

I photographed this adorable family from Texas during their vacation in Keystone:

We rang in September with Rachel & Dan’s mountaintop wedding in Aspen:

Rachel & Dan’s wedding marked the end of the Naked Photo Booth which had a great run the last 6 years:

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Aspen for Rachel & Dan’s wedding.  Us at the top of Independence Pass:

I could probably drive to Aspen every weekend and never get sick of the scenery:

We met Carissa & James for the first time at their engagement portrait session at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and cannot wait for their April wedding at the Ranch:

We enjoyed a quick getaway to Crested Butte & Paonia:

Camping at 11,250′ outside Crested Butte:

Camping outside Paonia:

And here we are today, trying to soak up the incredible fall colors that seem to be changing far too quickly:

This weekend we’re off to Laura & Andrew’s Saddle Ridge wedding in Beaver Creek on Saturday followed by Mallory & Mitch’s nuptials at Timber Ridge in Keystone on Sunday.  Stay tuned as so much more from this little teaser will be coming soon!  Happy weekend!
