I was speaking with my mom on the phone the other day and couldn’t help but laugh when she exclaimed how happy she is that the lows in AZ are finally getting in to the sixties and I replied how excited I was that our highs here in CO were staying in the low fifties and it has yet to get colder.  We love to talk about the weather and are continually amused by my transition from living in extreme heat to living in extreme cold.  I don’t know if the day will ever come that I’ll be able to say I like cold weather but, if anything, it’s taught me to really appreciate the beautiful days.  With fall fading away and winter quickly approaching here in the mountains, it’s the time of year when Mark and I shift our priorities, putting outdoor activities at the top of our list.  When you know months of being cooped up inside are right around the corner, a sunny 50 degree October day cannot go ignored.  Here’s how we spent it yesterday…
