We’ve been enjoying the most magnificent fall this year. Not only has the color lingered on for longer than usual, so have the warm temps. There’s nothing I’d rather be doing this time of year than frolicking in one aspen grove or another. Luckily my job involves seeking out the most scenic locations to be the setting for our couple’s engagement portrait sessions. The last week of September and first week of October (the peak time for fall color) are always our busiest for engagement portraits and family portrait sessions and for good reason. Who doesn’t love fall?
Here are a few of my favorites from three engagement portrait sessions we did around Summit County two weeks ago…
Elizabeth + Jonathan
Elizabeth & Jonathan will tie the knot next year in St. Louis, Missouri but were engaged in Colorado. Celebrating with an engagement portrait session in the Rockies was their way of adding a little Colorado flavor to their wedding:
KC + Matt
KC & Matt were married in Silverthorne the very next day. We work with Matt several times every year as he manages Keystone’s very popular wedding venue-Timber Ridge. We could not have been more flattered that of all the photographers he works with every summer, him and KC chose us to photograph their wedding. A very heartfelt congratulations to the newlyweds!
Alexis + Akos
Alexis & Akos are planning a Ten Mile Station wedding for next year. It will be an entire year before we see them again but we can’t wait!
