Above treeline is one of my favorite places to be.  There’s something profoundly humbling about standing on top of a mountain.  As you look around, you can’t help but respect the fact that everything around you has been here much, much longer than you have and will continue to be long after you’re gone.  Not many living things can survive above treeline and I always feel lucky to get the opportunity to be there, if even just for a few hours.  I’m in love with these breathtaking views that we captured from a couple of recent hikes at Loveland Pass…
