Weather in the middle of October can bring anything in the Colorado Rockies.  When Amanda told me she was excited for the beauty of the fall color (they were coming from Texas), I had to break the news that the fall color would be long gone and the mountains would likely be covered in fresh snow.  Oh, and also that it would be cold, quite cold for Texans.  Yet, October 18th rolled around and we were gifted with one of those rare sunny, sixty degree October days.  In other words, it could not have been more perfect.  Amanda & Randall exchanged vows at Sapphire Point overlooking Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile range, reminding me, yet again, that elopements are the bees knees.  I can’t think of a better way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.  Here are just a few of my favorite photos from our hour together that gorgeous afternoon!
