Venues We Love: Saddle Ridge in Beaver Creek

There’s no other place in Colorado quite like Saddle Ridge.  It’s a little deceiving too because when you first walk up to the door it just looks like every other building in Beaver Creek.  Step inside and feel as though you’ve gone back in time.  Back to the wild, wild west because Saddle Ridge is home to the largest collection of American western antique furnishings and artifacts outside of a museum.  Add to that, floor to ceiling windows with views of the mountains plus a back patio set among an incredible aspen grove.  Every time we’re at Saddle Ridge I feel like I never stop for one second because there is just so much beauty to capture.  Here is a little taste of what Saddle Ridge is all about… Continue reading ‘Venues We Love: Saddle Ridge in Beaver Creek’

Venues We Love: Catamount Ranch in Steamboat Springs

In my opinion, the very best Colorado wedding venues always have three things in common.  Great service, excellent food, stunning views.  Catamount Ranch in Steamboat Springs is one of those places.  Whether you’re having a local or destination wedding, Catamount Ranch is the complete package, you can’t go wrong.  We’ve had the pleasure of working there a few times and are always inspired by the gorgeous surroundings.  The lakeside ceremony site is remarkable and your guests will stand in awe on the balcony of your reception taking in the view of Lake Catamount.  Needless to say we can’t wait to go back.  Here are just a few photos to give you an idea of what Catamount Ranch is all about.  Happy wedding planning!    Continue reading ‘Venues We Love: Catamount Ranch in Steamboat Springs’

Vendors We Love: Great Time DJ

We are so fortunate to work alongside many talented businesses in the wedding industry.  We call many of them friends and always look forward to seeing familiar faces when we arrive at a wedding.  The greatest compliment we can give and receive from our colleagues is a referral.  It’s not just good business but it means working again with those that we know do a great job and together we will execute another perfect day.

Finding a great DJ is a critical piece of a great party.  Great Time DJ is, no question, the best DJ company we’ve ever worked with.  Their entire roster of DJs are consistent, know how to read a crowd, are great MCs, are organized and professional.  If booking a DJ has yet to be checked off your wedding planning list, give these guys a call.  I can’t recommend them enough!
