Remember two weekends ago when the temperatures plummeted, it poured for two days straight and snowed in the mountians? Well that was the weekend that Elizabeth & Ben were to be married in Ben’s dad’s backyard in Eldorado Springs. When we pulled up we were relieved we brought coats and umbrellas because it was cold and there was absolutely no sign of the rain letting up anytime soon. Ten minutes prior to the ceremony the rain stopped, long enough to set up chairs on the lawn for an outdoor ceremony. Then, right in the middle of the ceremony, the clouds part and the sun shined down brightly. It was absolutely gorgeous. It lasted just long enough for vows, rings, a few photos and then right back to the pouring rain. Ben & Elizabeth have such a great sense of humor. No matter what the weather, these two know how to have a good time and so they did. It was so much fun to get to know them and be a part of their wedding!
Paula & Jeff had a beautiful catholic ceremony at Our Lady of Loreto Church in Aurora followed by super fun reception at the Terrace Gardens in Littleton. Paula & Jeff are such kind people, it was such a pleasure to be a part of their wedding.

A quick moving Colorado storm may have carved it’s path directly through Jack & Sarah’s ceremony but they didn’t let that affect them a bit. I was so impressed by how quickly everyone relocated to the tent and the ceremony continued without skipping a beat. The rain moved on not long after and the night was gorgeous.
Last weekend Robyn & Jon tied the knot at Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone. I love Ski Tip Lodge! It’s so cozy and tucked back in the mountains. This wedding was so much fun to be a part of! Robyn, Jon and their families are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. A huge thank you to Robyn’s parents, Steve & Nancy, for choosing us to play such an important role in their daughter’s wedding day! We felt privileged to be a part it! Chris & Molly’s wedding was one of those weddings where the storm clouds parted just for their ceremony and immediately following the family photos the rain came pouring back down. It’s probably the third wedding we’ve shot where this has happened and there is something really magical about it. We had the pleasure of meeting Lisa from Garden of Eden based in Frisco. Her floral designs were drop dead gorgeous. Deep dark skies + vibrant flowers + an amazing mountain setting + adorable couple = awesome photos! Check out some of my favorites.

Dan & Jessica were married at the most beautiful, private location earlier this month. Their wedding took place on a bluff overlooking Mount Evans. The best part-it’s their very own backyard! Their wedding was a huge labor of love. Dan & Jessica had the vision and their family and friends were their to help their vision become a reality. Their wedding was such an intimate affair and I love all the personal details that Jessica infused into their day.
Last weekend we got to be a part of Chris & Tina’s wedding at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. It was the most beautiful day and I couldn’t help but think what a “rough” job I have as I rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain. : ) Chris & Tina had one of the most emotional ceremonies that I’ve seen, they even had me crying! I must say, it’s such an honor to be a part of such an important day in people’s lives. I truly love my job!
Two weeks ago we spent the day at Meadow Creek Bed & Breakfast in Pine for Chrissy & Andy’s wedding. We had just met Chrissy & Andy but it was obvious that these two are completely in love. Their ceremony was so incredibly heartfelt and sincere. It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding.
Saturday was an unusually cool and beautiful day in Lake Havasu. We had a blast shooting Rebecca & Jesse’s wedding at Rebecca’s parent’s gorgeous desert home. Rebecca had one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen and I loved the guy’s brown suits. Here are some of my favorites from their day.
