Tatum & Andy’s request was for a snowy engagement portrait session. We were scheduled to meet outside of Silverthorne in December so snow was definitely not a concern. Come the first week of December I’m stumped that Denver is getting all the snow. What the heck? Once it’s cold out all I want is snow. So far there was a little snow here and there in Silverthorne but it was still looking all brown and ugly out. I was quite delighted the morning of the shoot to wake up to about 1/2″ of new snow. It’s not much but it’s enough to cover up the ugly. That and we knew if Tatum & Andy were up for it, we could find more snow, and that’s what we did. If my clients want snow I will give them snow!
