Every year we shoot thousands and thousands of photographs so at this time of year I love to look back at everywhere we’ve been and everyone we’ve met. Our engagement portrait shoots took us everywhere from downtown Steamboat to Heeney to the Vail rest area. From freezing temps to perfect fall days. It’s been quite a year and I can only dream that 2012 will live up to all that has been 2011. As we close out the year, here’s a slideshow of just a few of our favorite engagement portraits of 2011. Enjoy!

It makes me very happy to live only an hour away from Steamboat Springs. However, one day I will sell my car (unless I’ve found and purchased the perfect VW camper), move to Steamboat and commute by bike. To me, Steamboat is the perfect mountain town. So…in the meantime, I will be there in a flash whenever I have the chance which means bring on the Steamboat weddings! I’m ecstatic for Teresa & Brett’s Steamboat wedding at Catamount Ranch next summer and got a little taste of just how much fun these two have together at their engagement portrait session last month. Check it out! Continue reading ‘Steamboat Springs Wedding Photographer: Teresa & Brett’

Bailey & Sterling made it out to Colorado for one of our very last beautiful fall days. We trekked around the grassy ski slopes that will very soon be full of skiers and snowboarders. The camera loved these two. They are kind of a gorgeous couple! Check out a few of my faves! Continue reading ‘Bailey & Sterling’s Breckenridge Engagement Portrait Session’

April & Brian are so sweet, so down to earth and so AWESOME for driving out to a new, somewhat remote location that we’ve been dying to shoot at. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. Check out a few of my favorite shots! Continue reading ‘April & Brian’s Summit County Engagement Portrait Session’

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I LOVE our clients! Just when I think they can’t get any cooler, along come Annie & Tim, the epitome of cool, the definition of fun. It’s pretty hard to call this stuff work when we have so much fun spending the afternoon with our clients! Annie & Tim’s engagement portrait session was spent walking around downtown Steamboat Springs doing everything from trekking through flooded rivers to jumping out of burning buildings. Okay maybe it was just a burned building but Annie & Tim were up for just about anything! Their wedding is set to take place at the stunning Fetcher Ranch on Steamboat Lake and we CAN’T WAIT! For now, check out just a few of my many, many favorites from their session. Continue reading ‘Annie & Tim’s Steamboat Springs Engagement Portrait Session’
