The photo booth craze is catching on and last week at Hillary & Bevan’s wedding it was more popular than ever! Hillary & Bevan’s guests literally came from all over the globe to celebrate their wedding. The photo booth was a great opportunity for Hillary & Bevan to get tons of fun group shots of this unique time when all their friends and family were together in the same place.
For those of you that don’t know, ever since it was an incredibly successful experiment at our own wedding, we’ve been offering, what we like to call, “The Naked Photo Booth”. We call it “The Naked Photo Booth” because it’s a bit different than traditional photo booths. It’s not enclosed and is basically a mini studio set up. A remote is attached to the camera allowing guests to take their own photos while Mark & I continue to photograph the reception. Guests are free to take as many photos as they want and as the drinks flow the line at the photo booth grows!

Hillary & Bevan arrived in Colorado from England last week for their winter wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. I am getting so excited! I love winter weddings in Colorado and Devil’s Thumb Ranch is incredible any time of year. But first we got together with this delightful couple for their engagement portraits at Red Rocks. I was just sorting through some past wedding photos and was thinking about how much I love getting ready photos. After months and months of planning out each and every detail those last couple of hours are where everything, your visions and your dreams, all start to come together. I love capturing those moments that are so full of excitement and anticipation. What I love most about these images is how candid they are.
