For the first time in six years of blogging (wow, I just realized that this month is the sixth year anniversary of this blog!), I’ve gotten a little out of order with my posts. However, with it now being the dead of winter, I thought it would be refreshing to bring back some fall colors. Since my favorite season of the year only lasts two weeks in the Rocky Mountains, if we’re lucky, this is my way of dragging it out : ) Here’s a little peak at our engagement portrait session with Allison & John in October.

Colorado Wedding Photographer: The Year in Weddings

This year can easily be summed up in three words: Best.Year.Ever. I’m beyond grateful for incredible couples, incredible weddings and a business that continues to be more rewarding every year. To each and every couple that we met this year, thank you for being you and thank you for the privilege to record a piece of history for you. Denver Wedding Photographer: Jessica & Chris

From the ski slopes to the city streets. In September we headed to Denver for Chris & Jessica’s wedding at the University Club. Jessica was radiant, as always, and Chris was cool as a cucumber. It’s always up to the couple if they want to see each other prior to their ceremony. In this case, I was so happy they chose to do so. Jessica was a bundle of nerves but the second she saw Chris the nerves were gone. We had a blast walking the streets of downtown Denver before retreating to the University Club for their ceremony and reception. A few of my favorite shots…

Dade & Michaela’s Evergreen Wedding

I’m running out of adjectives to describe how awesome our clients are. Incredibly fun, sincere, down-to-earth and totally, completely in love are the first things that come to mind when I think of Dade & Michaela. After a year and a half long engagement, these two finally tied the knot last week.
