Despite the storm that was quickly making it’s way into Denver this afternoon, Molly & Chris were calm and cool as could be for their engagement portrait session. We met up at Bear Creek Lake Park in Morrison where the trees are starting to bloom and the grass is turning green, it was a beautiful day. The sun came out just in time to help us create some nice, crisp, relaxed portraits of these two. Here are a just a few of my favorites!
We had the best time with our clients Elizabeth & Ben on Saturday night! In two hours we managed to hit up Riverfront Park, Cheesman Park & the Denver Art Museum. Ideal light along with a well-dressed, super fun couple that was up for anything made for a perfect engagement portrait session. We can’t wait for their Boulder wedding in August. Here are just a few of my many favorites!

I am SO excited to introduce you to our new website-IN Weddings! Being a wedding photographer has put me in contact with some of the best wedding experts in Colorado. Since becoming a bride I’ve learned how valuable it is to have these resources at my fingertips. Last month I became inspired to create a place where I could connect Colorado brides with the best vendors out there. I’ve quickly learned in my search for the perfect wedding dress that I don’t have a clue about who’s who in the wedding fashion market. Thank goodness for my friend Lauren who’s always filling me in on the latest and greatest fashions that are available. I had no idea that JCrew had a wedding department and I’m in love with their dresses. They’re so simple yet stylish AND affordable! I also discovered the amazing creations of Stephanie James Couture and absolutely fell in love. Lauren and I had a blast over at the chic Denver bridal store Anna-be a couple weeks ago. I love that I got Lauren to try on a dress with me. Aren’t these Stephanie James dresses adorable!

We had a blast last week during Rocco’s Freestyle Portrait session! Of course Rocco’s parents, Joe & Nicole, were awesome as well and we can’t forget Cooper the dog! We have so much fun capturing real, relaxed moments of families. Rocco is such a happy baby and made our job so easy!

It’s been three weeks since Rachael & Hugh’s wedding! I’ve never been so behind on a post so I’m going to get straight to the photos. These are just a few of my favorites from this beautiful Rocky Mountain wedding at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge.
Mark took Hugh and the guys up to Boreas Pass for some photos. Ten Mile Station is located just across the valley on the ski runs.

We can’t believe it either. Somehow it’s already October and all the stores are filling up with everything that has anything to do with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Whether we like it or not it’s time to start thinking about all that holiday shopping. We had so much fun hanging out with this family and taking some Freestyle Portraits on Saturday at the Evergreen Lake House. What a blast these guys were! All of them were completely comfortable and natural in front of the camera. We can hardly call it work when we’re working with such awesome people! We had to reschedule this session a couple of times and ended up shooting at the perfect time on the most beautiful day. Here are a few of my favorites.
