Every year we shoot thousands and thousands of photographs so at this time of year I love to look back at everywhere we’ve been and everyone we’ve met. Our engagement portrait shoots took us everywhere from downtown Steamboat to Heeney to the Vail rest area. From freezing temps to perfect fall days. It’s been quite a year and I can only dream that 2012 will live up to all that has been 2011. As we close out the year, here’s a slideshow of just a few of our favorite engagement portraits of 2011. This was a very special engagement session for me. Earlier this year when I saw on Facebook that my best friend from high school was FINALLY engaged to the guy she’s been with for 10 years (yes ten years!) I was secretly holding my breath hoping that she would want us to be a part of it. Needless to say when I received the e-mail in my inbox asking if we were available on April 9th of next year, I was ecstatic. Nikki & I each went our own ways after high school and lost touch, so to reconnect in this way had me through the roof excited.
