This time of year we begin to get a little tired. We’ve been shooting one-two weddings every weekend since May and we work tirelessly during the week to give each of our clients an exceptional experience and deliver their photos as quickly as possible. I sit at my desk longing to be outside knowing that summer will soon be over and then I receive a note in my inbox. It reads:
Dear M & M. Well, I’m sitting here with a huge smile and tears! (of joy!) I just wish I had a time machine so I could go back to Saturday and redo everything all over again. The pictures are incredible. What a tease. Can’t wait to see the rest. You two are a wonderful team. We are so grateful for your friendship and talent. Thank you. Take care. We’ll chat again, I’m sure. regards, connie
In an instant, I get a huge smile on my face. I am reminded of why we do this. Because we love it. Because it’s incredibly rewarding to document a couple’s own personal history being made. And, I could not be more grateful for the brides, the grooms, the parents and the guests that take the time to send us notes like these. It absolutely makes my day and instantly gives me a burst of energy to get back to doing my job the very best that I possibly can.
