Jack & Sarah @ Keystone Ranch

A quick moving Colorado storm may have carved it’s path directly through Jack & Sarah’s ceremony but they didn’t let that affect them a bit.  I was so impressed by how quickly everyone relocated to the tent and the ceremony  continued without skipping a beat.  The rain moved on not long after and the night was gorgeous.

Robyn & Jon @ Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone

Last weekend Robyn & Jon tied the knot at Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone.  I love Ski Tip Lodge!  It’s so cozy and tucked back in the mountains.  This wedding was so much fun to be a part of!  Robyn, Jon and their families are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met.  A huge thank you to Robyn’s parents, Steve & Nancy, for choosing us to play such an important role in their daughter’s wedding day!  We felt privileged to be a part it!  Sit back and relax, I have a ton of images to share!

Sarah & Jack in Morrison

We met up with Sarah & Jack for a super fun, super laid back engagement portrait session on Saturday.  The weather was finally in our favor and there was no wind!  I’m so glad they brought their adorable dog Layla along.  She was the perfect model, she would stroll into some shots and strike a pose and then wander off for us to get a few of Sarah & Jack alone.  We had a great time and look forward to their August wedding at Keystone Ranch!

Robyn & Jon in Evergreen

I was so excited to meet our clients Robyn & Jon while they were in town from Texas for a super busy wedding planning weekend. After meeting Robyn’s fabulous parents back in the fall I had no doubt that we would hit it off with Robyn & Jon. We got together at Dedisse Park here in Evergreen for a fun engagement portrait session. Their Keystone wedding in July should be amazing!

From Raw to Wow!

We rarely share with the world a raw image (straight out of the camera) but I thought it might be fun to show you the power of raw processing.

We spend a lot of time individually editing each image that we shoot to bring it to its fullest potential before anyone else sees it. We sit at our computers nearly everyday working on images and I still love watching an image evolve through our fine tuning process.

Here are two that Mark was working on yesterday from Tracy & Ned’s wedding. I just love how they “pop” after they’ve been processed!

Good Times

We’ve been super busy with company the last couple of weeks-that’s my excuse for the lack of activity here on the blog! We had a great time while my mom was here over the weekend. I have some fun and funny photos to share.

On Saturday we hung out in Keystone for the afternoon. We got some passes and headed up the gondola to relax on top of the mountain for a bit. It was such a gorgeous day with amazing views. That evening we had a blast watching The Hazel Miller Band at the Dillon amphitheater. (You may remember them from Jen & Jarrett’s wedding.) I’ve never had so much fun watching a band perform. We’re seriously hoping to have them at our wedding. If that works out, we’re guaranteed to have an amazing party!

I love this shot Mark took from the top of Keystone looking down onto Lake Dillon.

There’s nothing better than an outdoor concert overlooking Lake Dillon in the middle of the summer.

Mountain Connection

Last week we had the pleasure of having dinner with one of our favorite colleauges. Cat is full of life and so much fun to work with! We have such a great time in this business constantly working with new, fun people. If you or anyone you know is interested in getting married at Breckenridge or Keystone Ski Resorts, Cat is your connection to finding the perfect venue on the mountain.

Aleks & Jason

Tonight we were honored to photograph Aleks & Jason’s beautiful winter wedding. Not many people get married in the winter in Colorado, let alone on top of a mountain, so we were of course thrilled at the opportunity to do this. A gorgeous 45 minute gondola ride took us to Keystone mountain’s Alpenglow Stube restaurant where the ceremony and reception took place. Here are a few of our favorites.

To view Aleks & Jason’s entire wedding image collection, check back here December 22 for a link to their gallery.

Ski season is in full effect and it was a great day to ride!

The dress was simply stunning!
