Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding Photographer: Tatum & Andy

It was one of those days where everything just came together beautifully.  It didn’t hurt that Tatum & Andy chose one of Colorado’s most scenic locations along with an amazing team of wedding vendors.  That’s always a good recipe for success.  On top of it Andy & Tatum were gorgeous, relaxed and totally just soaked up everything that was perfect about their wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.  I had a hard time narrowing these down so sit back, relax and enjoy this super-sized post.

Shadi & Jonathan’s Vail Wedding @ Larkspur Restaurant

Shadi & Jonathan met in junior high school.  I think my favorite part of their wedding day was during the maid of honor’s toast.  She busted out a notebook that her and Shadi shared in junior high and proceeded to read an entry where Shadi wrote about how cute she thought Jonathan was.  That was many years ago and they never actually dated until years later when fate brought them back together.  Since then they’ve been inseparable, have shared in good times and bad and share a bond that runs deep.  You can see it in the way they look at one another, like they share a secret that know one else will ever know.

In August they tied the knot at Larkspur Restaurant at the base of the slopes in Vail.  It was a spectacular day full of love and laughter.  Below are just a few of my favorite shots from their Vail wedding…

April & Brian’s Elk Ridge Ranch Wedding

It doesn’t take much time spent with April & Brian to learn that they have found their perfect match in one another.  In August, after seven years together, April & Brian’s closest family and friends came together to celebrate their marriage at Elk Ridge Ranch outside of Breckenridge.  My favorite detail from their wedding was their table names.  Many couples name their tables after Colorado 14ers (peaks above 14,000 feet) to express their love of the outdoors but for April & Brian it was a little different.  Each table was named after a peak and below the name of the peak was the date that they summited that peak together.  For that reason, it couldn’t be more fitting that they chose to be married at Elk Ridge Ranch overlooking Mt. Lincoln, a 14er they summited together in July of 2008.  Needless to say, their wedding was stunning and such a joy to be a part of.  Check it out!

Mallory & Brian’s Sevens Wedding in Breckenridge

In July, Mallory & Brian and their closest family and friends came to Breckenridge for their destination wedding.  They tied the knot slope-side at Sevens Restaurant at the base of Peak 7.  Mallory & Brian wanted a great mountain setting for their photos so prior to the ceremony we took them and their wedding party to Boreas Pass for the best views of the slopes.  It was the perfect Colorado day for their mountain nuptials.  Check it out!
