Have we seen it all? Hardly. But in August when I realized April & Brian’s Breckenridge wedding would mark the 100th wedding that we’ve photographed it dawned on me that we’ve seen a lot.

This year can easily be summed up in three words: Best.Year.Ever. I’m beyond grateful for incredible couples, incredible weddings and a business that continues to be more rewarding every year. To each and every couple that we met this year, thank you for being you and thank you for the privilege to record a piece of history for you. I’m truly overwhelmed by all of you and the amazing people that you are. I’d like to end 2011 with a slideshow of some of our favorite wedding images of the year. See you next year!
Hard to believe that another year is coming to a close! As we wrap up our sixth season photographing Colorado weddings, I know many of you are busy planning your wedding for 2012. Oh how I long for summer looking at these photos from Kelly & Jerry’s Steamboat Springs wedding in September. Only six more months of winter and it will look like that again! The setting at the top of the gondola in Steamboat is nothing short of spectacular. Steamboat, with it’s slightly lower elevation than many other Colorado ski resorts, has it’s ski runs carved out of the aspen trees rather than pines. It’s quite unique and absolutely stunning. I have tons of photos to share so let’s get right to it!

It makes me very happy to live only an hour away from Steamboat Springs. However, one day I will sell my car (unless I’ve found and purchased the perfect VW camper), move to Steamboat and commute by bike. To me, Steamboat is the perfect mountain town. So…in the meantime, I will be there in a flash whenever I have the chance which means bring on the Steamboat weddings! I’m ecstatic for Teresa & Brett’s Steamboat wedding at Catamount Ranch next summer and got a little taste of just how much fun these two have together at their engagement portrait session last month.
