This year can easily be summed up in three words: Best.Year.Ever. I’m beyond grateful for incredible couples, incredible weddings and a business that continues to be more rewarding every year. To each and every couple that we met this year, thank you for being you and thank you for the privilege to record a piece of history for you. I’m truly overwhelmed by all of you and the amazing people that you are. I’d like to end 2011 with a slideshow of some of our favorite wedding images of the year. See you next year!

Shadi & Jonathan met in junior high school. I think my favorite part of their wedding day was during the maid of honor’s toast. She busted out a notebook that her and Shadi shared in junior high and proceeded to read an entry where Shadi wrote about how cute she thought Jonathan was. That was many years ago and they never actually dated until years later when fate brought them back together. Since then they’ve been inseparable, have shared in good times and bad and share a bond that runs deep. You can see it in the way they look at one another, like they share a secret that know one else will ever know.
In August they tied the knot at Larkspur Restaurant at the base of the slopes in Vail. It was a spectacular day full of love and laughter. Below are just a few of my favorite shots from their Vail wedding…

It’s every brides goal to be her absolute most stunning self on her wedding day. It’s my job to capture that. Shadi radiated beauty from the inside out last weekend at her wedding in Vail. Kacie & Kurt, from Philadelphia, had been traveling since 4am. Their engagement portrait session was scheduled to take place at 6:30pm in Beaver Creek. After sitting in construction traffic for an hour and a half we arrived in just the nick of time. As we pulled into our parking space, my phone rang, it was Kacie. They were running a little late from their appointment in Breckenridge and said they would be about 15 minutes late. They knew nothing about the construction mess on I-70.
